No. 245: とびっきりの思い出:イスタンブール こんにちは。 今日もまたイスタンブールのことを書かせていただきたいと思います。前回お話しをしましたように、私がイスタンブールに訪れたのは12月の頭で、1月の中旬のスルタンアフメットのテロが起きる前でした。観光で訪れる方々が絶対に行く場所で起こったテロ、今イスタンブールのお話し、ご紹介をしていいものかは分かりませんが、私の大好きなこの街をほんの少しご紹介させてください。 私が初めてイスタンブールを訪れたのは90年代後半でした。それからずっと縁がありませんでしたが、久しぶりの訪問は心残るものとなりました。短い訪問だったので、観光地しか行けませんでしたが、その中で印象に残るメヴレヴィー教団によるセマーの紹介です。そして現地でチケットを手配をして頂いたハカンさんの連絡先も下記に書かせていただきます。 イスラム教の神秘主義派の一つメヴレヴィー教団は日本語では旋舞教団と呼ばれるようですが、信者が音楽にあわせて、くるくると回転をし踊るという宗教行為で知られています。これは祈りの手段であり、回転は宇宙の動きを表し、回転することで、神との一体を図り、胸の前に手を交差させた状態から始まり、大きく手を左右に上にあげ、神との一体を喜びを表し回転しつづけます。かつてはこの踊りはメブラーナ教団の僧侶たちのその永遠の思想にいたるための修行のひとつだったようです。着ている衣装は昔のままで、この長い白いスカートは死者がまとう白布を、また頭にかぶっている赤茶色の高帽は墓石を示しています。僧侶たちたちはくるくる回ることで自我の世界に入ることができ、メブラーナの思想に至ることができるとうことです。 さて、この教団の創始者はルミとなりますが、もともとアフガニスタンの出身だということです。 メヴレヴィー教団は15世紀頃にはオスマン帝国の庇護を受け隆盛を極め、信仰するスルタンも現れましたが、1923年のトルコ革命で1927年までに霊廟は破却され、教団は解散させられました。その後、歴史的文化価値などから復興し、霊廟は博物館として一般に開放されるようになり、また舞踏もルミの命日に披露され、トルコの古都コンヤを象徴する祭礼となっています。 コンヤまで行きたかったのですが、日程が許しませんでした。が、イスタンブールでも数カ所でこのセマーの儀式を鑑賞できます。ご興味がある方は是非どうぞ。私たちはスィルケジ駅近くに近いホジャパシャ文化センター (Hodjapash Cultual Center) での儀式に行きました。Istanbul Life Organization を通してチケットの購入をしましたが、担当者のハカンさんがとても親切に手配をしてくれました。 下記は館内の様子、そしてハカンが映してくれた写真です。残念ですが、やはり見世物ではなく、儀式なので、個人による写真の撮影は儀式中は許されていません。 当日に私が撮った写真です。 私にとっても主人にとってもとても感動的な一時間でした。神秘にせまる、瞑想的、そして人と宇宙の一体化を描いた思い出深い儀式となりました。 きちんと手配をしてくれる代理の人を知ることも楽しい旅行の条件の一つとなるのではないかと思い、セマーの儀式の美しさと共に Istanbul Life Organization を紹介させていただきました。 Istanbul Life Organization の公式サイトは下記からどうぞ。 http://www.istanbullife.org こちらはハカンさんのブログのページとなります。楽しい生活、旅行の情報をお楽しみにください。 http://www.istanbullife.org/blog/ ハカンさんの連絡先は下記となります。 Hakan HACIBEKIROGLU Senguler Tourism Co Ltd Agency Licence ( A ) 4691 住所 : Ishak Pasa Caddesi No:6 Floor:1 Sultanahmet Istanbul / […]
