Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü English: Fenerbahçe Sports Club) is a professional sports club based in the district of Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey. The sports club derives its name from the Fenerbahçe neighbourhood of Kadıköy. Fenerbahçe is one of the biggest and the best supported clubs in Turkey, holding the joint record for the Turkish League title, and highest number of Turkish Super Cups. Fenerbahçe's football team currently plays in Süper Lig. They are nicknamed The Yellow Canaries (Turkish: Sarı Kanaryalar) and play their home games at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium in Kadıköy.
